I have a 310-8 toro wheel horse 31-10k801(this is the number under the seat) Need the solenoid and want to get the right one ..this one has the 2 bolt connections and 2 spade connectors below that.I may need an ignition switch as well ..Wont know till I put in the new solenoid...Boy this thing is built like a tank and runs good .Has the bagger as …

I hooked it to my battery charger and let it sit for a while. Anyways I got sidetracked and ended up coming back to the tractor hours later.Confirming that a 3" OD pulley on the transmission and a 78" drive belt work quite well together...doubles the top speed but still has good slow speed crawl. One note: you may have to modify a new woodruff key...the input shaft key slot is narrower than the milled slot on the new pulley (5/8" dia shaft). This allowed access to the internal switch components. I polished the contact points, increased the tension in the moving contact by bending it a little.My parts manual shows that pin as a 5/32" x 1-1/4", you'll probably want to replace it rather than reusing the old one. Before you take the wheel off, check for end play (with that side of the front end jacked up) by pulling and pushing the wheel along the axle.
